Hello. This is Dr. Cho Young-min.

A while ago, a beautiful woman in her early thirties

visited us at ANZ,

Thankfully, after reading my blog,

said they felt I was a doctor they could trust.

We always do our best, but

I gave it 120% of my strength to fill your beauty energy

to the brim for you ^^

Among the things one of our patients told me..

As you pointed out there are only a few blog posts..

Reflecting once more on my own laziness,

It's Sunday, but I decided to write a post!

What I'd like to introduce today is

It's a smartphone application.

Botox Diary

is what it's called

Dr. Kwon and I planned the idea starting last year, and

I started development at the beginning of this year and

Released on iPhone and Android in April 2022

Down to every single design element, color and button,

we put careful thought into all of it.

What led me to develop it was

Patients who receive aesthetic treatments

More often than you'd expect, when, where and which treatment you had

because many people didn't know.

In the case of fillers, if injected into the same area too soon,

When you receive a treatment,

it adds to the volume of the existing filler, and

compressing the blood vessels and causing skin necrosis

because the likelihood of this increases.

In the case of Botox as well,

We recommend an interval of 3 months, but

If you get it every 1–2 months,

tolerance can develop, and Botox may stop working,

and the likelihood of this goes up.

If all patients chose just one clinic and stuck with it
(as long as the clinic doesn't go under..!)

you can also receive reminder messages about when your next treatment is due, and

If you're curious, you can ask about your past treatment records, but

Whether you're someone who often switches dermatology clinics for treatments,

If the clinic you used to visit closes down,

it becomes really hard to check your own records.

For people like this,

I Keep My Own Dermatology Chart

with the purpose of

I have launched the application.

(This icon was commissioned from a design expert on Kmong

and asked for a diary-like feel..^^)

To show you just a few screens of the app in use,

When you tap the + button on the start screen,

you can select the treatments you've had.

For example, if you note that you received Thermage 600 shots on your entire face,

Records are saved by date!

you can set a reminder for a specific date,

and have a push notification sent to you,

by attaching photos,

You can keep a daily record of your face's condition

I think it's useful for checking changes in Rejuran bumps.

And

the post-treatment precautions

since it was all made by the ANZ doctors,

have been written down, so you can refer to them with confidence.

The most important thing is

All features are free!

that, and

No server, so your personal information is safe!

is the point.

Since there is no separate server that stores personal information
(actually because of cost issues... T_T the limits of an app made out of pocket)

the photos or treatment information you upload

there is no worry at all of it leaking out.

You can think of it as the same as your phone's notepad ^^

Lastly

for those who are more comfortable with English,

I've also added English language support, so

please spread the word to your friends abroad too...
(the translation costs were scary haha)

During the development process,

I went through the ordeal of having to set up a corporation all by myself, and
(employed doctor + raising a child + incorporating..!)

While going through the notorious step of getting the app approved on the App Store (endless waiting..)

There was a time when I was feeling really, really down T_T

As it was made with sincere, good intentions in every part,

I hope it will be helpful to many people.

Because you are precious :)

Then I'll think hard about the next topic and

I'll be back.

Take care not to catch a cold!
