Hello. Today I would like to talk about the number of Thermage shots and their effects.
Thermage.
It is a remarkable device that has never lost its image as the top contender.
and it is also an expensive device for that reason..

I like this device a lot too, but
Put simply, Thermage
Getting rid of old, aged collagen
Please think of it as a device that works on the principle of newly synthesizing springy, baby-like collagen.
Since the cost of the procedure is not trivial, I would like to share a few important points.
Thermage FLX tips come in fixed counts of 300/600/900.
300 shots is usually for both cheeks
600 shots is for the entire face
For 900 shots, we recommend the entire face + neck.
(With the previous model, CPT, 900 shots were needed for the entire face)

But given the price.... some patients occasionally want the whole face done with 300 shots.
In that case
Since half of 600 is 300,
If you do the whole face with 300,
Will you get half the effect?
The answer is no!
It is true that half the number of shots go in. It is true, but..
The fact that firing 1 shot does not mean getting an effect of 1....
For collagen denaturation to occur from Thermage's radiofrequency energy,
it has to receive energy above a certain temperature, but
because a single shot cannot reach that temperature.
For example, only after 150 shots have gone into the whole face,
If, beyond that critical point, the stage where collagen denaturation takes place begins,
300 shots is not actually 300; it is 300-150, so only 150 shots would have produced a proper effect, and
With 600 shots, 600-150, that is 450 shots, are the ones that produce a proper effect.
Then!!
You will get not half the effect but only 1/3 of it.
The price of 300 shots is about 60% of that of 600 shots, but
If the effect is 33%, that is spending with far too low efficiency..
I use two methods.
This is the first method.
At the beginning, we raise the energy setting high to deliver as much heat to the face as possible.
One point to be careful about here is to stay within a level at which the high intensity does not cause burns.
If the critical point is reached early on with a small number of shots,
all the remaining shots will become effective shots.
For example, if the critical point is reached with only 100 shots,
In the case of 300 shots, 300-100, that is 200 shots, produce the effect, and
In the case of 600 shots, 600-100, that is 500 shots, produce the effect.
(Even so, results naturally differ by the number of shots, but comparing the same 300 shots, 150 and 200 are a big difference..^^)
This is the second method.
using another device that raises the skin temperature, heat the skin beforehand so that it reaches the critical point more easily, and
This is the method of proceeding with Thermage after that.
In my case, I use the Titanium laser to
raise the skin temperature to a suitably hot level, and
We also make appropriate use of the way Thermage is performed.

Titanium has two modes, and
The stack mode has the advantage of raising the temperature rapidly in just 3 seconds.
If heat beyond the critical point is applied in advance with Titanium,
Even with 300 Thermage shots,
though it won't quite be 600 shots,
you can get the effect of about 400-500 shots!!
And with the immediate lifting effect of Titanium added on top,
You can address firmness and lifting at the same time. #TThermage
BUT
If you do Thermage alone,
As I mentioned earlier,
Use the 300 shots on the cheeks only, and
For the whole face, please be sure to get 600 shots.
300 shots is not a small expense either, so the effect shouldn't fall short.....T_T
Once again today, although it is not my money,
I wrote this in the hope that you make a meaningful investment in your skin.
I will be back with more useful information next time!
