Hello. I am Dr. Cho Young-min, a board-certified dermatologist.
These days I receive a great many inquiries about Juvelook.
It is a skin booster that I have been using steadily since 2020.
Juvelook

A compound word of Juvenile look (that is my assumption)
juvenile (young/youthful) look
The desire to look younger and more youthful is, after all,
It seems to be the same all over the world.
Juvelook is composed of an ingredient called PDLA.

A product with a similar molecular structure is Sculptra (PLLA).
When the right amount is injected into the correct skin layer,
As inflammation and breakdown take place, it works in a way that gradually builds up collagen,
It is a skin booster that produces such effects.
I once wrote an article about the effects of oral collagen, and
At a level that cannot be compared with oral collagen,
It stimulates collagen production in the skin layers.
When collagen is produced -> firmness improves, and
When firmness improves -> fine wrinkles and pores improve, and skin texture will improve too
In the case of Sculptra (PLLA), which has a similar ingredient, the particles are very large, so
It is used to add volume to sunken areas, but
Because Juvelook's particles are small, it is not often used to increase volume, and
For fine volume adjustment in narrow areas such as surface scars or deep wrinkles,
I mainly use it.

A filler places a mass made by cross-linking hyaluronic acid into the body, and
if the goal is to add immediate volume,
Juvelook plants a seed that prompts your own collagen to be produced - if you think of it like that,
I think it will be easier to understand.
Unlike fillers, which take effect right after the procedure,
Juvelook needs time for collagen to form, and
Rather than a single session,
I recommend treatment about once a month, for roughly 3 sessions in total (3 months).
There are broadly two.
Anti-aging and scar treatment!
Because collagen is produced, firmness is added and the skin feels somehow tighter and more resilient.
Expecting dark circle treatment and improvement of pores and fine wrinkles
there are cases where it is done for anti-aging purposes, and
By injecting areas with a specific skin defect, such as acne scars,
It can also be used to correct fine surface irregularities.
In that case, the layer into which Juvelook is injected would differ, wouldn't it~?
(It's a secret..... :) Just kidding, if you look on YouTube it's all there haha)
It is a typical side effect that you will probably find with just a little searching, so
As you probably all know,
That would be ‘nodules.’
This refers to a phenomenon in which the area looks lumpy, as if a foreign substance were inside.
Since it cannot be easily dissolved with hyaluronidase the way a filler can,
In. the. first. place.
It is important to prevent nodules from forming :)
To avoid getting nodules,
The ‘hydration’ must be done well.
Hydration is the process of evenly dissolving the particles of Juvelook, which comes as a powder.
After all, you can't put powder into the skin.
But this hydration process.... sometimes
It is far more important than the actual technique of the procedure.
(Clinics that do it well don't readily reveal their know-how for the hydration process.......!!!!)
Nodules form because this powder does not dissolve evenly,
This is because an excessive amount goes into one small area.
The fact that nodules can be prevented as long as the principles are followed!
Let me stress this once more..
Hydration... hydration... hydration is the key.

To give you the answer first, it is the difference in particle size.
Etrebelle 50 was another product name for the same ingredient as Juvelook, and
I understand that it has now been consolidated into Juvelook.
Etrebelle is a French word, and
Etre (be) + belle (pretty)
I think it can be interpreted as something like 'Become beautiful.'
(You can tell I studied French for a while here.. ^^)
There were two types: Etrebelle 50 and Etrebelle 200.
Juvelook Volume corresponds to Etrebelle 200, and
Its former name was 'Renisna'.
Juvelook Volume = Lenisna = Etrebel 200
That was a brief digression, but returning to the main topic,
Juvelook Volume, whose particles are relatively larger,
injected into areas that look hollow, such as the sides of the cheeks or the temples, to
It gives a natural, gradually filling-out effect.
The skin booster most often done at Cheongdam ANZ these days is none other than
It is Juvelook Volume.
Unlike in the past, more people feel averse to fillers, and
For that reason, treatments that generate the body's own collagen are preferred,
I think it reflects the mood of the times.
To go over the treatment interval once more,
I recommend once a month, for a total of 3 sessions.
And I recommend waiting 6 months.
The reason is that, without waiting for collagen to be produced,
If you keep receiving the procedure,
This is because there is a possibility of excessive treatment.
after waiting at least 6 months until the formation reaction has stopped,
If you then feel that you need more volume, please have the procedure at that point.
Today I put together a complete overview of Juvelook.
I hope this was very helpful.
With Juvelook, depending on the practitioner's experience and knowledge,
the effects also differ markedly, and
because whether side effects occur is also decided by it,
Please choose your clinic and doctor carefully.
If you visit ANZ, based on 3 years of experience using Juvelook,
I will do my best to give you the best possible results :)
Have a good day.
