It's been a while since my last everyday-life post :)

Last Sunday, I slipped out partway through a conference and, at Charlotte Theater,

I watched The Phantom of the Opera.

To actor Jo Seung-woo, I..

that his performance of 'Dulcinea' in 'Man of La Mancha' earlier was so wonderful,

He remembered everything I had mentioned in passing.

A.n.d

He sent invitation tickets to ANZ! (So thoughtful...T_T)

(I got to watch my favorite actor walk into my exam room
live, in person.. That day is still so vivid in my memory)

They even arranged our seats in Row 6, right beneath the chandelier.

To think I'd hear The Phantom of the Opera, which I had only ever listened to in the original, in the voice of my absolute favorite, actor Jo Seung-woo..T_T I'm so moved.

The co-stars Hwang Geon-ha and Song Eun-hye were wonderful too.

After the curtain call was over, we scurried along behind the manager..

Drumroll..

I took a selfie with the Phantom of the Opera,

I took photos, and took some of Dr. Kwon too,

For hardcore musical fans like my wife and me,

It was the best gift. Booking a good date, time, and seat is so difficult, but

Thank you so much for arranging everything around our schedule.

We'd like to return your warm kindness too :)

I had only ever listened to the original.. so hearing 'Think of Me' sung in Korean as 'Saenggakhae' felt a little odd..

I was a little worried(?) about how the lyrics of The Phantom of the Opera would be translated, but

I liked that they kept it in the original language :)

I'd love to see Ms. Son Ji-su's version of Christine too, haha

I hope the Seoul run goes well to the very end, and best of luck with the Daegu performances that follow in winter too!
