The lifting combination I am most satisfied with these days

Looking back on my recent practice,

“Ah, this combination is really good.”

That is how I feel in one particular case.

It is Titanium and Sofwave.

In particular, satisfaction was quite good among people troubled by nasolabial folds and marionette lines.

Today, I would like to talk about why I have come to choose this combination so often.

Nasolabial folds are not as simple as they seem.

Many people, while looking in the mirror,

gently lift the flesh above their nasolabial folds with their hands.

And they say,

“Doctor, I just wish it could turn out exactly like this.”

I understand that feeling very well myself.

Even I, while looking in the mirror,

‘Not bad today, is it?’ and then,

are more than just a problem of a single wrinkle.

the strength that supports the cheeks weakens,

That is why pulling hard on just one spot does not always produce a natural result.

So I look at both ‘line’ and ‘elasticity’ together.

In the past, when it came to lifting,

I thought that how much you could pull up was the most important thing.

But as I kept seeing patients, my thinking changed a little.

Good lifting

is not simply about pulling upward,

but I have come to think that the skin itself looking healthy must come along with it.

So these days,

I don’t look at line and elasticity separately.

I look at both together.

(A little bragging: I have been a Titanium user for a long time.)

Skin is more honest than you might think.

Doing a lot of treatments that aren't needed does not make skin look better.

So, for my part,

Rather than the name of the device,

I place more importance on why this device was chosen.

Patients

“Doctor, how do you keep studying new procedures like that?”

is something patients sometimes ask me.

Honestly, there is no special secret.

when I see a good result, I want to study even more,

When I see a result that is a little disappointing, it makes me study even more.

In the end, my patients are my best teachers.

So even now, after I finish seeing patients,

‘If only I had done it a little differently, it would have been better.’

‘Next time, I should try this combination.’

I often find myself thinking this.

Perhaps that is why dermatology is fun.

Devices keep getting better, but

since the search for better results never ends.
