The previous post was about how Titanium can be a good alternative when Ulthera doesn't work, and

Today, in more fundamental terms,

I would like to talk about how to get the best results from Ulthera.

Ulthera works by delivering ultrasound to the fascia
to lift the tissue

For Ulthera, with or without sedation, I do the same

Before the procedure, I show you the Ulthera ultrasound screen.

This is the final step of Cheongdam ANZ's Triple design.

This is the process of showing you, right now, whether your fascia and the position where Ulthera acts line up.

Because if you fire carelessly, every precious shot gets wasted.

The green horizontal line next to the number 4.5 is where Ulthera acts, and

The white line touching the green line is the fascia.

It is a proper shot only when it turns out like this.

However

There are cases like this.

(You can see my silhouette reflected. I took the photo during the procedure because I thought I should write a post.)

Can you see the white fascia far below the green line??

When enlarged,

to the point where there is a difference of almost 1.5-2mm

You can see that the fascia is located deep.

The reason it doesn't reach the fascia even with the deepest of the Ulthera tips, the 4.5mm tip, is

It is because the fat layer is too thick. (The black part is fat!)

If you keep doing Ulthera in that state,

Only a small amount of fat is broken down where the green line reaches

it is hard to see a significant effect.

Those are the people who later feel that Ulthera doesn't work, and

having actually spent the large cost of Ulthera only to remove just a tiny bit of fat

which ends up being an unfortunate case of waste.

When the fascia is so deep that Ulthera's ultrasound can't reach it,
what is the solution?

There is only one way to make Ulthera's ultrasound reach it.

It is making the thick fat thinner.

selectively breaking down only the fat without damaging the surrounding skin tissue,
