#DrAegyosal #MakeAegyosalAtHomeWithoutProcedures
Hello, I'm Dr. Cho Young-min.
In just 3 weeks, the book we wrote will be out :)

Quite literally, without relying on the power of procedures
just with 'exercises' done in short spare moments at home in front of a mirror
I will teach you how to create aegyo-sal.
Once you become skilled at aegyo-sal exercises,
like in the video below
Your aegyo-sal, just like a bodybuilder's
You will even be able to move them skillfully, one side at a time.. ^^
Ahead of the official publication,
I thought I would introduce some of its contents,
I plan to post parts of the book's contents.
I hope you enjoy reading it, and
I hope you have a good day today as well!
Please remember that aegyo-sal can be created through exercise :)
<Making Aegyo-sal at Home Without Procedures, pp.35~47>
When we look at people in everyday life, the first thing we look at is the other person's eyes. Through the eyes, the windows to the heart, we can grasp another person's emotional state very quickly and intuitively. Evolutionary biologists believe that while humans lived in groups, reading each other's emotional state quickly and accurately through the look in the eyes gradually became important. In the course of social interaction within a group, reading the other person's intentions from their gaze became advantageous for survival, and in situations that require teamwork in a short time, such as battles between groups or large-scale hunts, members who could communicate with each other through their eyes would probably have been able to accomplish their goals more efficiently (Figure 12).

Therefore, the view that humans gradually evolved to draw a great deal of information from the look in each other's eyes seems very persuasive. In modern society, the eyes play the most important role in determining a person's impression. In particular, when a respiratory infectious disease is rampant and masks have to be worn, it is no exaggeration to say that the image the eyes give has an absolute influence. In fact, in 2019~2022, when masks became mandatory because of COVID-19, many women "confessed" that they only wore eye makeup when going out, and people with pretty eyes, whose flaws were hidden by masks, reportedly received more "confessions" of love on the street (Figure 13).

We perceive the range of the eye as extending to the upper and lower eyelid areas around the eyeball. This is why eyes with aegyo-sal below the eyeball or a double eyelid above it look bigger and more open. When applying makeup, drawing a thick eyeliner gives both the effect of making the eyes look more defined and the effect of making them look bigger.
When the aegyo muscle contracts, the aegyo-sal protrudes not only toward the front but also toward the inner corner of the eye. The volume added toward the inside pushes the inner boundary of the eye further inward, making the eye longer horizontally. On top of that, it creates a half-moon eye shape, giving the eyes an attractive look (Figure 14).

From those in their teens and twenties who are very interested in dating, to job seekers and working professionals in business, there is probably no one who does not want to give a 'likable impression.' Unless someone is such a strikingly handsome man or beautiful woman that they look attractive even when scowling, a likable impression means a smiling impression. A smiling face is one in which the smile muscles contract, raising the upper lip and the corners of the mouth, and at the same time the aegyo muscle contracts, forming aegyo-sal (Figure 15).

In the brief instant of looking into the eyes of a person with aegyo-sal, we instinctively predict that this person is in a positive state of mind and will be favorably disposed toward us, and the emotional distance toward them narrows. Of course, this impression will not work on everyone, but it is a simple way to earn high marks from most people, so there is no reason not to do it. After all, the saying "You can't spit on a smiling face" didn't come about for nothing. Moreover, in an era like today when wearing a mask is mandatory, if you can create aegyo-sal at will, then even in a situation where you might feel annoyed, you can smooth things over just by subtly forming aegyo-sal even if your mouth is not smiling, so it can become a weapon you can use comfortably in social life.
We currently work as dermatologists performing anti-aging treatments in the very heart of Gangnam. For that reason, we know all too well the longing of the many people who want to look younger and more youthful.
A face with aegyo-sal looks like it has a shorter midface than a face without it. In fact, when the smile muscles contract as seen from the front, aegyo-sal forms and the upper boundary of the midface comes down, and because the upper lip is raised, the lower boundary of the midface goes up. The reason the midface gradually lengthens with age is that aging makes the skin sag and reduces facial volume. Therefore, a face with a lengthened midface looks older, while the shorter the midface, the younger and more youthful an impression it can give (Figures 16-1, 16-2). To achieve a similar effect, there is also the method of using fillers to add volume to the aegyo-sal, the front of the cheeks, and the lips, but everyone knows which of the two will look more natural.

If you are curious about how to do aegyo-sal exercises, please send a neighbor request to my blog. You will be able to get the latest information.
